Vishal Acharya graduated with his PharmD from Ohio Northern University in 2010. During his clinical rotations, Vishal had the opportunity to work in various pharmacy environments, including a compounding pharmacy, children’s hospital and a specialized clinic in Kenya. After graduating, Vishal worked in a variety of community pharmacies developing his clinical skills, and is certified in Diabetes and Obesity Care. Vishal entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own pharmacy in 2017 with the mission “To provide high-quality, proactive healthcare to our community with customer service at top-of-mind”. Vishal works to make it a unique and enriching place for his patients. His experiences have helped him recognize gaps in our healthcare system, and work to reduce them, helping his patients optimize their health. He concentrates on preventive medicine, compounding, achieving hormone balance, and chronic disease management. As a preceptor for co-op and rotation pharmacy students, Vishal encourages continuous learning, passion for the profession, and entrepreneurship. He lives by these tenants, personally striving to continue to learn and develop his skills to support the health of his patients. Vishal is the proud recipient of the Preceptor of the Year award in 2022.
